Naivas Launches the Kikwetu Books and Dreams Campaign!

The Kikwetu Books & Dreams campaign was born from a simple but powerful belief: that access to books can open doors, shape futures, and spark stories that last a lifetime.

Launched by our CEO, Andreas, during the 2025 Naivas Family Fun Day at Waterfront, the campaign marked a collective call to action, bringing together families, customers, teams, and partners around a shared purpose.

In the weeks that followed, collection baskets were placed in every Naivas store countrywide, each one inviting customers and staff to contribute books and stationery toward an ambitious goal: collecting 100,000 items to be donated to deserving schools across Kenya.

Beyond the numbers, the campaign reflects Naivas’ continued commitment to driving a strong reading culture across the country, one that nurtures curiosity, imagination, and learning from an early age. The books collected during this period will be donated in 2026, creating new storytelling opportunities in classrooms and libraries, and empowering young learners with tools that inspire confidence, creativity, and possibility.

Through Kikwetu Books & Dreams, every contribution becomes more than a donation, it becomes part of a larger story, written together, and passed on to the next generation.
